School Break Franzen Style

My kids returned to school after a 3 week break. So what did the Franzenfam do on our “holiday”? So glad you asked, as I’m happy to divulge….

Slept in...

Well as much as my kids can…they are still early birds.

Spent time with special friends….

Played lots of this...

And this...

Watched fun movies like this....

Ate way too much pizza...

And goodies like these......

Supported my soccer boy....

Spent time with cuties like these....

Saw these guys and a few of their African friends....

Drank lots of this.....

Bet you saw that one comin'

And am now in need of this.....

Looks like a wonderful holiday!

Did your kids like the Ice Age movie? We haven't seen it, but my kids LOVE the other ones. :)

Michelle,
Teri gave me your blog to read, it is so neat to get to know you and your family in such a creative way...I really liked the red hat comment from your son. Very cool way to keep in touch.
My boys were wondering what dad was doing on his birthday and I could show him who he was with which was so great!

I could lie and say I took the Monopoly pic as it is a really cool one and I wish I did however I am a missionary so should be honest and tell you I googled it. :)

Lisa, my kids did enjoy the movie as did I...we are Ice Age fans.

Kimberly, welcome! If you haven't figured out already my posts can be very random. We are enjoying hanging with John and Craig....they are definitely getting to see the worst and best Joburg has to offer. BTW---had a little b-day celebration for him last night.

What a great way to spend your holiday! I love having days at home with not having to be anywhere. They are few and far between but we cherish them when we get one!
