Hungry

How about some chicken for dinner?

Chicken feet that is!

I was in the meat section of my local supermarket and stumbled on these fun little guys. I decided they were too good to pass up. My kids were horrified when I showed them what was for dinner. Hey when in Africa be African right?

Wrong!

Ew! Haha so did you cook them? How'd you do it and how'd they turn out? I won't bother asking if your kids ate them... I already know the answer to that!

My comestic worker cooked them up for us (they love em along with the insides of the chick as well...gross!)

She boiled them, she said sometimes they grill them.

Skyler almost cried, Tori ran and Blake (the boy of course) tried it but wasn't too pleased. :-)

As for me--my motto is no unneccesary roughness and that would include eating chicken feet!

LOL re. "cosmetic worker." I guess she wasn't able to make it appear appetizing to those with weak stomachs???

I remember the photo of Alicia in China with a octopus hanging out of her mouth. It wasn't battered like here in the USA, it had the suction cups showing and everything. I couldn't believe she ate that. Then in Africa she went for the whole shot at Carnivores. No stopping that girl!

Hmmm, don't think she's tried chicken feet yet. Maybe it would be a great appitizer at the reception.

It cracks me up that you bought them--I would have just expected a picture. You know, like the a** cake! ;)

Michelle, can't believe you actually bought them, had them cooked and tried them (or did you?) I'm with Skyler and Tori! Gross is all I have to say. AlthoughI remember when my Mom used to make pigs feet and pigs tails (I actually ate the pigs tails - yuck). Next time just take your camera (like usual) and take a picture instead.

That would be a very good way for me to go on a much needed diet.

Is there really any meat in there? Or do you just suck on them for the flavor? EW.
