Wild Wednesday

Some nice friends of ours gave us their timeshare which afforded us a special visit to Kruger National Park with Rich's parents for some superb game viewing. I thought you might enjoy a gander at the African Wild (I also really like this slide show thing)…….

How fun!!! Loved the slides. The zebra and the family of elephants were my favorite!

Are those light-brown animals with the thin white stripes gazelles, or are they something else? Very pretty.

I loved all the photos. The one of the rhinos terrified me.

Totally amazing. My boys would be in HEAVEN to get to see all those animals. My fav was the family of elephants crossing the road. ...not such a fan of the crocodile... those things are pre-historic and freak me out.

It is an antelope native to Africa called a Kudo and they are quite elusive so we were blessed to see so many esp. the male (one with big rack of horns).

Actually saw all of what is termed the 'African Big 5' (elephant, cape buffalo, lion, lepoard, and rhino).

Come visit and we'll take you!

Very cool pictures! We'd love to come visit and see them all in person! Not sure how we'd work it out financially though! :)

Rae- too funny. It is close up of an elephant's eye. I guess it is all wrinkly so hard to tell the difference.
