What do you get when you have a Canadian, a South African, a New Mexican, a few Americans and a dash of Franzen?...
...the Impact Africa "Summer" Staff Team...
After many delays the team assembled on South African soil and training commenced this past weekend. Part of the festivities included team building exercises at the "Amazing Maize Maze".
Team Argentina would face off with Team Uruguay amidst a maze in a field of maize...
After running around a corn field answering random questions we spent time wandering through the shrub maze...
Time raveling and unraveling...
Time monkeying around
And for the grand finale, Team Franzen took to the ropes...
It was a fun afternoon getting to know each other in a rather corny way.
Keep abreast of the team's impact and other good news here.

Looks like SO much fun! If I had a dollar for everytime this week I've heard the words "South Africa" .... we'd have those tickets bought! The kids and I are starting a "summer study" on South Africa. Going to the library on Wednesday. Any websites you want to suggest on history, culture, history....and movies? That would be fantastic!
What a fun way to get to knit together for the very important work this team will do!!!! Prayers
Corny indeed. ;-D
Looks like a lot of fun -- and hard work.
Alicia leaves Friday for TM and then Mexico to do her first PD trip. She's nervous and ready to go! Say a prayer for her if you think of her.
We'll be praying for you and the team!
