Other than the obvious fact that my meek and mild child is inching closer and closer to wild and wacky, can you help but notice the mess?
This is what I came upon when fetching her from school yesterday.
Tori: “Mom, we painted today.”
Me: “Really, I would have never guessed.”
Apparently painting on your clothes is a lot more fun than on paper.
Oh, and she is wearing a WHITE bathing suit cover-up because it was also swimming day at school. Too bad the painting did not precede the swimming.

Oh the life of a kid!
Darling shot! I wouldn't have imagined her as meek and mild. I've always pictured her as sweet and silly. I don't know why.
Is that a picture in the school or at your house? The barred gate reminded me of the house I lived in when I was in Kenya. It kept us "Safe" and locked away upstairs from the robbers.
nice. i'd recommend making a retro cover up and let her finish her work with some splatter painting. it would totally scream 80's! right up her mom's alley :0)
That girl is just adorable! :) I wish I had known you when you lived in Texas. Your family seems like a lot of fun.
I love that your school has swimming day...seems like maybe they should invest in paint-shirts next!
Soh, the pic is taken at the school but we too have our gate that keeps us "safe" and locks us away from robbers. Every building is pretty fortified here.
Lisa, I wish I knew you too although I think we left right around the time you came. And they do have smocks (your comment made me lol) and as the story unfolded...Tori put it on with the paint side facing in...thus the painted clothes. :)
Heidi...I'm just ignoring you. hee Actually I love the 80's.
Oh, that's too funny, Michelle. Only Tori could put the smock on with paint side in huh? What a funny little character she is and boy do I miss her!
