Highlights

I got to thinking about highlights today…I know quite a random thought.

What about highlights? Well a lot of us highlight our hair, we highlight an excerpt to be remembered in a book, we like when someone highlights our accomplishments, we endeavor to highlight God in our everyday lives and we too often highlight our weaknesses.

Tori decided she would highlight her legs today,in a very literal sense of the word………

So I am curious what are you highlighting today?

No highlights yet, it's 9AM and I'm on my bed eating chocolate, confession time. Hey! Some women like coffee, right?
The photo reminded me of Alicia when she was little and she painted her entire body with nail polish. I found her behind the couch. I was out of polish remover..ahhhh!
Little girls are sooooo fun :)

I'm highlighting the fact that my son finally has enough energy to return to school even if for just a few hours. I'm highlighting the fact that tissue was invented to wipe the endless stream of snot coming down the lips of my toddlers. I'm highlighting the fresh aroma of Folgers because it's the only thing I can smell right now.

Nice post! Go Colts.

I'm highlighting the fact that Rod just took the kids to school and I'm in the office (we share an office space) listening to his computer play an annoying tune while it is on hibernate. I have no idea how to turn it off, but I feel like I'm stuck in an elevator....

I'm highlighting the fact that you're lucky your daughter rather scribble on herself rather than the walls around her, like my son does.

Ethan had a similar encounter with a red marker... it was so much fun! THe good thing was that it was totally water soluble and came off pretty easily... and the pictures are pretty cute, too...

What am I highlighting today? I AM going to have a quiet time... sad that I have to say it like that, eh?

I'm highlighting that my SON continue to fall asleep in each of his video lessons--and he's about to be sent back to the public school where he must sit upright at a desk!!! AGHGhghgh!

As for the highlighter pen... your daughter and mine...

I'm highlighting the time of night I'm still on the computer: 11:30. Not late enough to shock anyone, but I've still got way too much to do before bed so I need to just walk away from the computer. Walk away, Debbie!

You and Joy are up late....both comments arrived as I sit here drinking my coffee reading blogs. Which by the way I tried commenting (responding to you) on your blog and it would not let me. Said Blogger had a time out check back later...yea, I'll give you later I just wrote a book and now it won't post. I guess I am highlighting that 'posting abilities' are operational again relieving me from much anxiety and frustration!

I hope you didn't lose your "book." I want to read it.

Deb, I am glad you knew who "you" were....and I meant to say 'morning' coffee, obviously I had not had much by the way I phrased my comment.

The 'book' is gone...but it was a good one!

my highlights - I should say - lack thereof - unless you count gray/silver as a highlight - I am starting to think I may have a dtreak like that lady on What Not to Wear - my real highlight woudl be that I am blessed to have so many friends who genuinely love me - thank you.

Michelle-
I am highlighting the fact that I am in South Africa!!

I have a feeling that I won't be able to visit until I move back permanently, since I don't think will be in the city until I fly out. I am loving it here and look forward to having coffee sometime with you. I do not have your contact details, however....so shoot me an email with them...

So cute! Reminds me of that commercial where the guy paints his face with a highlighter to fake being sick. : )

No highlights—I'm just way toooooo tired this morning. : )
