Simba's Pride

I have some guests from America visiting this week. So I have been showing them some of the local African sights….thus my lapse in blog posts.

One of the highlights for guests (& us) is always the Lion Park. It is a fun 'African' experience. It is a small safari park of sorts containing many different types of African wildlife with an emphasis on lions….thus the name. Basically, it is made up of large lion enclosures that you drive through allowing for up-close and personal views of the furry fellows. Additionally, there is an area where you can pet and play with baby lion cubs.

There are also some other friendly animals like my giraffe friend.

So when you come to visit I promise to take you for your very own lion experience. Any takers?

We have sad news for you. We tried that abc.com thing, but it says it is only available for people in the U.S. Sad, but true.

TAKER! Yes indeed! Totally serious, Michelle, I'm bringing my family there- and let it be soon in Jesus' name! Yes, I want them to see the amazing African flora and fauna, but also to see how other people live and experience sharing Jesus. You can count on us being there someday!

ps- you are so BEAUTIFUL! You look amazing in that photo!

OH, I hope we can visit someday!! By the way, Ashley Hasz and Makayla Bender have both been in the fountain as well. A TM kid rite of passage evidently.

I am so there. I also want (and will) travel north to Botswana to experience a real safari. Why travel half way around the world and be so close to the best safari and not take part of it?
