Mountain Maker

We spent the weekend three hours from Joburg in the Drakensberg Mountains. It was absolutely magnificent! Here are a few pictures captioned by the eloquence of Chris Tomlin……

You made it all

Said let there be and there was all that we see

The sound of your voice

The works of your hands

You do all things well!

"Magnificent" is definitely the perfect word... what beauty! The imagination of our wonderful God never ceases to awe me...

Cute pic of Sky...don't you love that "my teeth are growing in" look? I'm so glad we're at least past the front four being missing...Em looked like she had horrible sugar-eating habits...

Wow. He is great and greatly to be praised! Don't you just look at those mountains and think they are a testament to his greatness? The rocks are crying out!

I sent you an email yesterday to your impactafrica address- did you get it?

ps- Mick wants me to tell you that SA looks a LOT like the area of Australia he loves the most- it's the NW corner of 'Oz' as they call it- an area called the Kimberley Ranges. I spent about 6 months there, and the scenery is really similar! Both SA and NW Australia are the main places on earth w/ boab trees. (baobab? don't know what they are called in SA.) Beautiful.

I had no idea that such beauty lies within the borders of South Africa. Naturally it is a beautiful country. Isn't it a top destination for people from all over the world? I can see why people would choose to visit.
