Conversation with my 5 year old the other day…..
Blake: “Mom will you help me look up PS2 games on the internet?”
Me: “Umm, why?”
Blake: “I am making my Christmas list.”
Me: “Bud, do you realize you have like 363 sleeps until next Christmas?”
Blake: “Yeah, just want to get my list to Santa early this year!”
Now that is planning ahead!

At least that gives Santa a little time to save up for all those games! We got together with all the Arnolds over New Years and both Chloe and Annie (Brooklyn's 2nd cousins or is it 3rd, anyway...)had the Nintendo DS and now Brooklyn wants one. I priced them and HOLY MOLY!!!! I am not ready to spend that much on one gift yet!!! You think once they are out of daycare things will get cheaper. Yeah right, that's the age all the tech toys begin. Here's to being broke the rest of my life!!!!
did santa fail to deliver on his list this year? maybe delivery times are delayed in SA:0) what a handsome little bugger.
So did you help him? That's my Blake. I don't even know what it is he's asking for. Better start saving up Santa.

I think he learned well from his mother... preparation brings peace. Just think how great those sleeps will be for him!
My kids have been talking about what they want for next Christmas too! I think they see what their friends and cousins get and it looks like something they might want.
We are still video game free in the Arnold house....I don't know how long we can hold out though, all of Hunter's buddy's got the DS this year.
