The Cavalry is here

Three weeks ago today an angel robed in a Northface jacket arrived on our doorstep. Anyone that leaves 80 degree weather and comes to our winter cold with no heat is an angel in my book! Her name is Marci and she is here to serve with us at Impact Africa.

Already she has taken so many monkeys off Rich’s back and much of the guilt I carry has been alleviated. I feel bad when I can’t help Rich with his monkeys. Well no more monkey business here thanks to our new superstar!

Marci you are our Cavalry (so does this mean we need to get you a horse) and we are so glad you are here! Check out her blog and learn her story. She also has a really funny crack post!

Great news!!! I keep forgetting it's cold there now. We are so in to what we are experiencing we forget 1/2 the world is opposite us!! How is that for "self" centeredness!!!

I agree with Heidi. Glad you have the extra help. So, when can the whole Arnold clan come to visit? Do you know them through Teen Mania also? What a small world. They are a wonderful family and I am VERY lucky to be part of it!

Yes, TM and ORU days. ORU I knew Rod, Chad (we played football togther) and Janelle it wasn't until TM days that I got to know Michelle, Cristine and Darren. In fact Cris is a very dear friend.

Rich also knew Rock at ORU--lived on the same floor for a few years.

You are right they are a wonderful family and they married wonderful spouses. Wish I was able to get to know you better as well...guess blogging will have to suffice unless that visit becomes a reality.
