So I guess Sunday morning is my favorite!
Do to Jack's works schedule we typically attend the 9:15 service, I come home, put on my napping/nascar garb, have a cup of hot coffee (yes I still sleep) snuggle into my recliner, with the "sleeping blanket" and my 18 pound cat... and I am out for 1-3 hours for my Sunday nap!Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12859852466403739019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-16212518534998755672007-05-16T22:23:00.000+02:002007-05-16T22:23:00.000+02:00My favorite time of day is between the hours of mi...My favorite time of day is between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m. The house is quiet, I can think (usually about sleeping, but I try to fight it), and I can blog in peace. Of course, you guys aren't up at that time, are you.

I'm actually like Susan. I can survive on five or six hours of sleep. It ain't pretty the next morning, but I manage to get through the day. Oh! I nap from 8:30 p.m. (when my son goes to bed) until midnight.Just Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08633342136855001505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-78335256332339659082007-05-16T21:50:00.000+02:002007-05-16T21:50:00.000+02:00I suppose my favorite time of the day is when me a...I suppose my favorite time of the day is when me and my roomies get together and make dinner. There are those days where we fend for ourselves...but for the most part dinner is a big to-do. The best part I suppose is not making it, but enjoying it as we settle in for our favorite prime time TV shows. That's what ya do on a week night when ya don't have kids or a hubby. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-67683850058157215772007-05-16T20:33:00.000+02:002007-05-16T20:33:00.000+02:00My favorite time is around 8:15am when Abigail goe...My favorite time is around 8:15am when Abigail goes down for a nap (she's up around 7am). She does this nap great so it's not a battle and then I get time for a shower and my devotions.

I try for a 7:30 bedtime, but it's usually 8 or 8:30 before she's really out. I'm not giving up though. :) You give me hope!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00533081970318197368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-46041418523216303692007-05-16T18:56:00.000+02:002007-05-16T18:56:00.000+02:00I'm really enjoying hearing your favorite times of...I'm really enjoying hearing your favorite times of the day. Susan, yours is really special! I sooo want to be a morning person and so am not! :-(

About the bed-time...I am not sure how that happened. Strange thing is when I moved here I had 2 children ages 2 and 4 and they went to bed at 8:00 now there are more and they are older yet 7:30 seemed to set in and they are out cold within minutes..sometimes if it has been a long day even 7:00. Now on the flip side they are up by 6:15 a.m.michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11732461759449365762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-14016342043717115742007-05-16T18:48:00.000+02:002007-05-16T18:48:00.000+02:00You described my favorite time of the day perfectl...You described my favorite time of the day perfectly, but just as Heidi said....how do you get them to bed at 7:30???? If we have an extremely busy day of running around and no naps, I can get them in bed by 8 but that is the earliest, otherwise they would be out of their beds numerous times before going to sleep. Please share your secrets!!!
Things really quite down around here about 9:00 pm and I LOVE the quiet time before bed.Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13484713845836835913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-19418831475399875802007-05-16T16:27:00.000+02:002007-05-16T16:27:00.000+02:005:00-8:00 seems to be our crazy time of the day do...5:00-8:00 seems to be our crazy time of the day doing those exact same things: supper, baths, reading and etc.

I like early afternoon quiet time: rest or nap time. My best time is in the morning once they are all on the bus. That's when I come hang out with you guys.

Sweet picture! Our family loves to be outside at this time because you can hear the hustle and bustle of the day wind down and all is quiet in the land!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09926323450434969253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-38869615776558935152007-05-16T15:31:00.000+02:002007-05-16T15:31:00.000+02:00my favorite time is the time you described...playe...my favorite time is the time you described...played out the way you described it. 7:30???? holy cat's not happening here, EVER! we're lucky if we've finished supper by 7:30, especially now with summer knocking on our door.

i like the time of day when dad gets home from work. even though he often just comes in and sits or has something he needs to do, seeing that the reinforcement has arrived, i feel the extra energy surge and actually believe that i might win the war.Heidi Jo Comeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01503259742540607539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-89950219557578164112007-05-16T15:27:00.000+02:002007-05-16T15:27:00.000+02:00I remember the days when the girls were little and...I remember the days when the girls were little and I felt just like you. I loved that time right after dinner when we did baths. Everyone was clean and ready to snuggle. Our kids always had early bedtimes. I loved it!

Now I like 8-9pm when I settle in to relax. I love my kids and we have so much fun together all day, but there is a 7:30 bed time for a reason. Usually I am exhausted and ready for to sit and relax for the first time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33542389.post-63563668687365386842007-05-16T13:42:00.000+02:002007-05-16T13:42:00.000+02:00What a precious picture :o)Morning is my favorite....What a precious picture :o)

Morning is my favorite. I'm usually up by 5. It is so quiet and peaceful. Not a sound except the birds chirping away. When my husband gets up we each get a cup of coffee and sit down to read our Bible and other devotionals & another book (we always have a book we are reading together - right now it's Myles Monroe's Rediscovering the Kingdom) then we prayer together. Then we have toast and cereal. It is such a special time and we have done this for YEARS!!! If something happens and we miss this special time the day just doesn't go as good.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11360047123820906113noreply@blogger.com
